Each year, the François Décorchemont Glass Museum organizes a series of lectures addressing various topics related to the history of glass art.
- Thursday, April 24: The Riches of Time. Slow-Made Art and the Mobilier National, by Marc Bayard, Director of Research and Innovation at the Mobilier National.
- Thursday, May 29: Jean Luce and the Revival of Table Glassware in France during the Art Deco Era, by Sung Moon Cho, Art Historian
- Thursday, June 19: The Charleroi Glass Museum: 50 Years of Promoting Art and Heritage, by Catherine Thomas, Museum Curator
- Thursday, September 11: Henri Navarre (1885-1971), Sculptor of Light, by Mardochée Franco, author of the book "Henri Navarre, from the Intimate to the Sacred"
- Thursday, October 16: Ateliers Loire: 100 Years of Passion for Stained Glass, by Véronique David, Honorary Researcher at the Centre A. Chastel, author of the book of the same name
- Thursday, November 20: Stained Glass at the 1925 Art Deco Expo in Paris, by Laurent Antoine Le Mog, International Exhibitions Consultant
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
The lectures take place on Thursdays, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and are limited to 30 people.
