Antoine Leperlier

For more than forty years, Antoine Leperlier's work has been marked by technical and empirical research on lost-wax glass paste and casting, which aims to show that this material is particularly well suited to expressing the plastic dimension time. Whether his works take the form of sculpture or glass painting, whether figurative or abstract, they are always the result of a close correlation between the material and this concept. Through a selection of ninety works, the exhibition retrospectively presents the different stages of this artistic approach and addresses from this point of view themes which have marked the history of Western art.
